Thank you Jesus!

I am grateful...

For the chance to be with you, to worship and to serve you during the Holy Mass today.

For being able to join the Novena for your most Sacred Heart, thank you Jesus.

For being a part of the Novena for the Blessed Virgin, our Mother of Perpetual Help.

For the Holy Gospel that still remains in my brain until now and the Homily that really struck a chord in my heart. For once in a long time, I was not defensive while listening to the Homily. I got the message and it really got me thinking, and wanting, no longing to thank you Lord Jesus.

For prayers answered and unanswered; uttered and unsaid, thank you Lord God.

For blessings that continue to pour down, a million thanks Lord Jesus. I may have overlooked them before but now I realize that you are slowly untangling my shackles. Freeing me from my chains, even those of my own making. The material things that keep me tied to my computer chair all day. For all that, thank you Jesus.

For time spent with my family, especially my Lola, during meals, during Love Heals, during in between moments that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I sound corny right now but still I thank you Lord Jesus.

For the oops moments that you were quick to help me with, through your instruments, I thank you Lord Jesus. I also beg for forgiveness, for putting spending and nonsensical stuff over what matters most. I'm sorry Lord Jesus and I thank you for all your help, for pulling me from the brink.

For new open doors, opportunities to develop my skills and build character, thank you Lord Jesus! So unexpected and such a blessing. Thank you for the confidence boost Lord Jesus!

For the chance to finish reading an inspiring book and write about it. At least my blah blahs today had more sense than usual. And I love the ebook so much. Still do. Oh if I could write just a page like the author, I would be forever in bliss. I am grateful for the gifts you gave me Lord Jesus so I won't give envy the chance to ruin things. Not anymore. Thank you Jesus!

For the chance to lie in bed upon waking, then sit quietly and relax, reflect on the previous day and learn from yesterday's lessons, thank you Jesus! I will praise you all my days Lord Jesus! Thank you for all that and more Lord Jesus! I love waking up each day, knowing that I can do nothing but thank you and my day would still be productive. Thank you Lord! In Jesus' name. Amen. :)
