I am Grateful for Your Grace Lord Jesus

I am grateful for the gifts of Life, Love, Grace, Forgiveness, Guidance, Rest, Peace of mind, Healing and answered prayers. I will never forget your message for me this week Lord -- Grace. I pray for Faith, Hope, Peace, Patience and Perseverance. Thank you Father, for all of these gifts. Thank you for all the prayers You have answered, for showering us with blessing and for always being our Provider. I thank You Lord, in Jesus' name. Amen.


Lord God I pray for Humility and Obedience so that I may serve You according to Your will. I ask for Your Grace and Guidance so that every step I make today and in the coming week will always be according to Your will. I pray for the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and Healing for our family, our country and all the nations so that Your Love, Hope and Peace may reign. May we remain faithful, in Jesus' name. Amen.

May I always be reminded of Your ultimate sacrifice on the cross and Your Resurrection -- through which You destroyed our death and restored our life. In times of trials, may I always look upon Your cross and be reminded of the Grace You have given us. May I complain less and pray more and serve more without hesitation. Let Your Love reign Lord Jesus. Thank You Jesus. Praise You Jesus. Amen.

Gospel - God's Message for Today

G O S P E L

Perseverance in prayer is essential if we want to get what we are asking for from God. Just like any human being, God looks into our desire when considering gifting us with His graces. The greater our desire to do His will, the more likely we are to receive His grace as He will know that we are less likely to waste the grace given to us. Let us seek to grow in our desire for the Kingdom of God, and thus grow in obedience to God’s will.

 

Luke 11:1-13

1 Jesus was praying in a certain place, and when he had finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray just as John taught his disciples.” 2 He said to them, “When you pray, say: Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. 3 Give us each day our daily bread 4 and forgive us our sins for we ourselves forgive everyone in debt to us, and do not subject us to the final test.” 5 And he said to them, “Suppose one of you has a friend to whom he goes at midnight and says, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves of bread, 6 for a friend of mine has arrived at my house from a journey and I have nothing to offer him,’ 7 and he says in reply from within, ‘Do not bother me; the door has already been locked and my children and I are already in bed. I cannot get up to give you anything.’ 8 I tell you, if he does not get up to give him the loaves because of their friendship, he will get up to give him whatever he needs because of his persistence. 9 “And I tell you, ask and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. 11 What father among you would hand his son a snake when he asks for a fish? 12 Or hand him a scorpion when he asks for an egg? 13 If you then, who are wicked, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?”
